A new sports facility located on top of a 32-acre hillside in an undeveloped area of Westlake Village with breathtaking views of the city. This upscale, family-friendly YMCA has a classic brick façade, a nine-foot-deep pool used for scuba diving training and a five-foot-deep warm-water pool used for an array of aerobics classes. Floor-to-ceiling storefront glass walls and an Alaskan Yellow Cedar ceiling with exposed steel trusses surround the pools.
A fully-equipped fitness center offers visibility into the child care center, and a staircase at the entrance includes a glass railing, lit handrails and pre-cast stair treads. An indoor gymnasium on the second floor holds six retractable basketball hoop backboards and a complete volleyball setup. The facility also includes instructional studios, locker rooms and office space. A retail area features indoor and outdoor seating and a lounge overlooking the Natatorium.
