MATT Construction Enhances Leadership Team With Five Promotions
The team at MATT Construction increases leadership support and offers new opportunities for development to five industry leaders within the organization
In its continuing pursuit of operational excellence, MATT Construction has expanded the company’s leadership capacity to support its growth and develop its next generation of builders and leaders. The new leadership team moves MATT closer to its vision: attaining the full measure of our potential to build an inspiring world.
MATT Construction has promoted Greg Wade, Joe Healy, and Jason Mosier to Senior Vice President roles, and Cheech Huang and Kris Barr to Vice President positions.
Greg Wade: Senior Vice President
Greg Wade, a master builder, design leader and manager, has built a variety of well-known projects throughout the course of his 24 years at MATT including The Broad, the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, and the LACMA Transformation project. As Senior Vice President, Greg will team with Chief Estimator and SVP Hakim Khalil to jointly lead MATT’s preconstruction department. Collaborating with Hakim’s team of estimators, Greg will oversee multiple vice presidents and a team of VDC and scheduling specialists to successfully transitions projects from preconstruction to construction.
Joseph Healy: Senior Vice President
Over the course of his 13 years at MATT, Joseph Healy has led some of MATT’s largest and most complex projects such as the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, The Broad, and the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Headquarters. In addition to overseeing a number of projects, including the (W)rapper, he is now expanding his responsibilities at the corporate level to lead the company in operational risk management and the development of MATT’s next generation of leaders.
Jason Mosier: Senior Vice President
With MATT Construction for over 10 years, Jason Mosier is an accomplished executive with strong management and construction skills. He sharpened his abilities as an operational Vice President over such complex projects as the Center for Early Education and St. Michael’s Abbey in Orange County’s Silverado Canyon. Focused on finding solutions that will realize clients’ design and budgetary goals, Jason draws upon his broad knowledge of MATT’s resources, capabilities and partnerships to help clients develop a winning strategy for their projects. A natural leader, Jason creates a strongly collaborative and productive environment in which all participants contribute to a successful outcome.
Cheech Huang: Vice President
Cheech Huang’s promotion reflects MATT’s goal of developing accomplished builders and leaders. Joining MATT as an intern, Cheech has progressed through the ranks on unique and challenging projects such as the Landmark Apartments, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Headquarters and the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. In his 18 years at MATT, Cheech has emerged as a solution-focused, strategic leader, well-respected by partners and clients alike.
Kris Barr: Vice President
Kris Barr is a DBIA-accredited professional and has been a valuable asset on MATT’s team for 11 years. He has worked on projects such as the Hollywood Bowl, USC Stevens Hall and Google’s Los Angeles headquarters. In addition to maintaining his operational role, Kris is taking on leadership of MATT’s Northern California region where he will continue to expand MATT’s presence in the region.
