MATT Construction Expands Leadership Team Adding Two Vice Presidents
A new year brings continued growth to MATT’s senior leadership team
MATT Construction is pleased to announce the expansion of its leadership team with the promotion of two operational Vice Presidents.
“Having recently celebrated MATT Construction’s 30th anniversary, the growth of our leadership team moves us another step closer to 30 more years of building meaningful places throughout California. I am grateful to Ankur and Kevin for all they have done for MATT and our clients. They are outstanding examples of our focus on developing the next generation of great leaders, builders and people,” said Steve Matt, Chairman & CEO of MATT Construction.
Ankur Verma: Vice President
Ankur has played a critical role on MATT’s operations team for the last 17 years. He has led several innovative and logistically challenging projects, such as the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, One Westside and the Television Academy Saban Media Center.
In addition to continuing to oversee the success of client projects, Ankur will be responsible for assessing and leading MATT’s operations and technology infrastructure integration. Partnering with MATT’s VDC/BIM department, he will lead the implementation of technology solutions to increase efficiency at every level of project execution.
Ankur holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University.
Kevin Pitzer: Vice President
Throughout his career at MATT, Kevin has consistently delivered unique and complex projects on time and on budget and has played a vital role in successfully leading exemplary projects such as the LACMA Transformation, Hotel Californian, Christ Cathedral Tower of Hope, and the Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. Kevin is currently leading the project team at the (W)rapper, LA’s first exoskeleton tower, where he will guide the pioneering project to completion.
Beyond supporting MATT’s clients, Kevin will also be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing best practices for operations.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
