On behalf of the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians, MATT added a new, 256,000 sf, four-star hotel to the operating casino. In addition to 240 rooms and 10 suites, the reinforced concrete hotel includes a rooftop bar and lounge. MATT self-performed over 10 acres of extensive exterior concrete sitework, creating a 2.5-acre plaza and public garden space, an outdoor amphitheater and prominent water features. Other amenities at the Fantasy Springs Resort include a fitness center, a sinuous 100-foot-long pool, an indoor and outdoor bar, a jacuzzi, a sundeck, a beach volleyball court and a fire pit. Scope also entailed construction of a new central plant which feeds both the casino and the hotel and has the capacity to feed a second hotel tower.
