The Physical, Earth and Environmental Science Center (PEESC) building includes 23 research and teaching labs, 15 faculty and staff offices, three fully wired seminar rooms, a lobby and public workspaces. The Occidental College PEESC building matches the stucco and clay-tile roof style of the existing campus. MATT Construction coordinated additional mechanical, electrical and plumbing for the lab areas and increased natural gas feeds and water for the science areas. Work took place on a fully operational campus within a tight site affording little storage area. Carefully scheduling equipment and materials deliveries ensured minimal disruption to campus activities.
