LACMA enhanced its Ahmanson Building with the addition of a new grand stairway, new ceiling systems and glazed entrances for the plaza-level lobby and pavilion-level entry, a new polished concrete floor, a new gift shop, a new elevator lobby corridor and improved back-of-house storage. Other upgrades included infill to atrium wall openings, repairs to travertine walls and renovations to the lower level public restrooms.
