New construction of the Playa Vista visitor center and sales office which serves as the showcase building for 1,100 acres. Scope included extensive interior electronic implementation alongside the installation of eight large statues, two water features, story walls leading to the entry, photovoltaic skylights and a curved entryway skylight. The team incorporated multiple sustainable design elements, such as recyclable wood, steel, newspapers and plastic and natural light and air ventilation patterns. They also installed energy conserving appliances, lighting, heating and cooling systems.
